SUMMER FUN DAY

Timings and Reminders

As you know this Sunday marks the end of our season, with our Summer Fun Day and Team Presentations.

The allocated age group timings for Presentations, Football Olympics and Inflatable Zone are below. Age groups are for the season just finished. Please could all players wear their Egerton kits wherever possible.

Cheshire FA will have a skills team attending doing various activities across the day.

If you have yet to provide 2 x passport photos and proof of age (copy of birth certificate or passport) please bring them along on the day and give to your team manager to avoid any delays when the new 2016/17 season starts in September.

Details of our facility plans for improvements to parent and spectator viewing areas along with improvements for FA facility requirements will be on display in the bar area throughout the day with a couple of committee members there to answer questions between 1-2pm.

Also, there will be an inaugural Chairman’s XI game kicking off on the 3G around 3pm with the bar open in the club house from then into the evening.

Training has now finished for the 2015/16 season. Pre- season will start in late August. The revised training and coaching matrix should be available on the website over the next few weeks.

Finally, a massive thank you to everyone who has offered to help out on Sunday. Without fantastic parent helpers like yourselves, days like the fun day and the classic tournaments would not be the success that they are! All volunteers names will be entered into a draw to win a photo shoot with local photographer Sarah Jane King.

The lucky winner will be notified next week. There are still a few slots throughout the day that need filling - it's not too late, so please let us know if you can help.

Not only is it fun but it provides significant social and health benefits and helps develop life skills in areas such as discipline, communication, dealing with success and failure , decision making and other similar attributes.

Our club has both girls and boys teams and Egerton is also home to the Cheshire FA Disability Team. We are proud to have the FA Community Charter Standard and work hard to make sure that we meet the requirements of this standard. At Egerton we operate a football for all policy so whether players attend Saturday club, play in a team or are attending training sessions and camps we will always adopt best practice to provide football in a way most enjoyable for our members.

Our club also has an active social side with Sportsmans Dinners, Family Fun Day's and Christmas Parties all arranged for our members to both promote the social aspects of our club and to aide fundraising.
