DS Football at Egerton FC
Egerton is home to the Cheshire Down’s syndrome football group affiliated to the national DSActive sports programme. Sessions are open to anyone with Down’s syndrome aged five upwards and players take part in fun football sessions delivered by FA qualified coaching staff focusing on dribbling, passing and shooting whilst playing plenty of games. Training takes place inside the sports hall every Sunday during school term time from 10.00 – 11.00am.
The sessions are priced at £2 each week and those interested in attending are asked to turn up on the day or contact the Manager in advance for more information.
Sunday 27th November
Fantastic training done by all, Freddy showed some speed, racing to receive the ball in the warm up sessions. Joe tries to stop Josh from scoring his 3rd goal in the final match.
What a great performance, in the shoot out, as every one scored. (I think the goal keeper was a bit too nice).
Sunday 4th December
Well done everyone! It was a great football match, a very close finish. Grace was fantastic with ball control and passing and finding it hard to get passed Tom.
Jasmine played a blinder in goal, trying to keep Lucas and yellow team from scoring.
Sunday 11th December
There will be no football, as the Club is being used for the annual Tatton Park Run. The next and final session is on the 18th December at 4pm.
