    Have fun, make friends, play football

    Egerton Girls FC is a collaborative, fun environment for girls aged 5 and upwards to experience grassroots football, supported by in-house FA-qualified coaches.

    As an FA Wildcats Centre, our training promotes a safe environment where girls can have fun, make new friends, develop fundamental new skills, and create foundations for a lifelong love of the sport.

    Egerton is part of the FA Squad Girls programme for players aged 12–14, and we set ambitious training targets to develop excellent football skills and a competitive but respectful playing attitude.

    Our Girls Weekly Training Sessions

    Girls Training takes place at Egerton on the 3G pitch on Wednesday evenings: 5.00pm – 6.20pm for U7 Wildcats up to U11 teams, 6.30pm – 7.50pm for U12 to U14 teams, and 8.00pm – 9.20pm for U15, U16, U17 and Ladies. Girls aged 5-8 are welcome to join our Girls Minis at the 5.00-6.20pm Wednesday evening session and can also join Saturday Club (Girls and Boys mixed) at Egerton on Saturday mornings - for full details see the Mini Football page.

    Training Sessions are led by FA and UEFA qualified coaches with an aim to develop the individual, the team and a focus on enjoying football.
    Goalie training takes place on Friday evenings on the 3G with ex-Macc Town First Team Goalie Coach Bill Gorton, and is free for Egerton FC members.

    Membership

    Membership to Egerton Girls Football Club is £309 for 2025/2026 and is renewed annually. It includes weekly training sessions and matches. Register and pay online via JoinIn. The kit is available from our club shop. To order girls/womens kit for 2025/2026, please fill in the kit order form.

    Matches are played on Saturday mornings.

    Girls Football Leagues

    Junior Football – CGFL
    Our U8 to U16 teams play in the Cheshire Girls Football League on Saturday mornings (9 am – 1 pm kick-offs).

    5-a-side: U8s & U9s
    7-a-side: U10s & U11s
    9-a-side: U12s & U13s
    11-a-side: U14s, U15s & U16s

    Senior Football – CWYFL
    Our U17s and Ladies 1st XI (both 11-a-side) play in the Cheshire Women’s & Youth Football League Championship Division on Sunday afternoons (2 pm kick-offs).
